I usually do, but I'm a dork.
I used to when I had a reason to... but then, like whorishness said, I'm a dork too.
I give Valentine's Gifts. :) In Japan it's the norm. On Valentine's Day, February 14th, girls give gifts of chocolate to the guy they like. March 14th, however, is called White Day and is the guy's turn to return the gift if he likes the girl. They usually give White Chocolate on White Day, hence the name. ;)

Oooh, that sounds cool. I doubt any (North American)guy would ever remember White Day tho.
Yah, unless they are into the Japanese culture. LOL. But I still think it's perfectly fine for girls to give chocolates on Valentine's Day. ;D
I believe in equal gifting. So yes. Unless you're a couple who doesn't do V Day, which is also OK.
Why the hell not? Sugar does for me. :)
Sure you can! I always use to make Les a card and get him or make him a little gifty of some sort for Valentine's Day. :)
Valentines gifts work both ways, you give & you recieve. Personally I give & don't care if I don't recieve. (Deleted comment)
Okay, yeah I know, I was just curious about social norms I guess and whether or not I was acting within them. Not sure why I care. I guess I was suffering a case of self-doubt.
My mom always sends V-day cards to my sister and I. I am definitely going to get a card for my sister this year, because she is awesome. I'm just not so sure about the boyfriend right now. I'm not sure where things are or where they are going. I don't want to look like an idiot for doing nothing, and I don't want to be misleading via any gifts. :/ | |
