BBW [Nov. 29th, 2007|12:41 am]
Does anyone know of a good store to buy a formal (like prom) dress for BBWs? I need one for a New Year's Eve party. I have zero experience with this, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

If all else fails, I'll ask my mom to make me a dress.

I don't know of any in Canada, or any in the states that sell strictly to BBW's. But I will say that I once found a size 28 dress in a regular prom dress store. Here, the regular stores have some big sizes, but not many. So if you really want your size, you'll have to fight for it (assuming it's a time when everyone is buying prom-like dresses).

Igigi has some sexy stuff, but they're online. I've ordered pants from them and they are nice. They have high quality stuff, unlike a lot of other online stores.

I found this site on a search, but I've never ordered from them. They have some really cute stuff.

Why is it that plus size clothing is so fucking expensive? We're not that fucking big that you need to charge us for an entire bolt of fabric. Assholes . . . that was random.
