Countdown [Sep. 28th, 2007|07:43 pm]
[Current Mood |tiredtired]

Okay, well, tonight is the last night of order up here. Moving commences tomorrow AM. Papere should be fine, he went in for surgery yesterday.
Took the dog with me when I walked Kalena to work tonight. Now my feet are sore and have blisters.
Been feeling tired all day today. Trying to finish Xenosaga3 but am stuck on a boss. I'll probably give it one more try and then read for a bit.
Wow, I thought I had a lot more to say, but apparently I don't.

The Lipton apple-cranberry white tea is yummy.

Oh yeah. I've been having incredibly odd dreams lately. The other night it was about Leah trying to pierce her eye because the holes in her ears had closed up. Then last night I had a dream about Angel (the vampire) and Leah had moved into this place with creepy guys, kind of like a retirement home. Then there was a doctor who kept giving pills to this one girl just to see her reactions (like, for amusement) and I yelled at him not to do that because it was dangerous!

Maybe that's why I'm so tired.

I have no idea what is going on at my place of residence for (Canadian) Thanksgiving. I sent off an email of inquiry last night with no response. *sigh* It's hard to make plans when you don't know where people expect you to be.

There's turkey involved. It's a time for families to get together. No there isn't any celebration of pilgrams - more like a harvest festival. And a day off work. It's a month earlier because of being further north, our harvest time is eariler then further south.

It's pretty much the exact same as American Thanksgiving (as far as decorations and meal goes), we just celebrate it on a different date. But yeah, it focuses more on harvest and stuff - and being thankful for the every day things and family, friends, etc.

No word on Thanksgiving so far. Mom and dad have no firm plans as far as I know. My Sunday is reserved for stuff with Laura's family and I have to work Monday so we'll probably be doing stuff Saturday, I'd imagine.
