I think my compy really wants to retire. It is acting very boggy. I'm going to run a defrag and see if that makes it feel better, but I think I am going to have to start saving my pennies.
This morning, I woke up two hours early and by 1:30p decided I needed to go to the walk-in clinic. I did a quick web search and found one in the Falls open 'til 5p. It's in the same building as where my mom goes to the chiropractor. The doctor there was really nice and I will definately go there again should the need arise. His name is Dr. Frech (pronounced "fresh") and he was really nice. He said, "You didn't do anything wrong; we get about ten cases of this a week. I think about let alone three today." Much much nicer than the last dr I saw at a walk-in who gave me the third degree about my sex life as if I was a stupid cunt.
So I got a script and we headed to the Shopper's on the Lane. I was brave and asked them to call the Seaway for my drug benefit card. I'm not sure how much it would have cost full price, but in total it came to around $12 (including 2 other items).
We had just enough time for J to make his hockey game. It was a pretty good game, considering they lost, but he also got to see some of the guys from his old job.
So, this pill I'm on, I can't have any daiy while I'm on it. (I'm also supposed to avoid calcium supplements, iron supplements, and sunlight.) So we made a stop at Zehr's to get some soya milk. (I live on cereal.) I also bought a box of instant oatmeal and some wine gums. Next stop was bubble tea. As I wasn't allowed dairy, I had my second ever milk-free bubble tea. I got cherry tea with passionfruit jellies. Yummy! J bought me a pita for dinner. After I ate, J went home and I phoned Leah. I was supposed to have been home earlier when she phoned, but that was before I had to rush off to the doc's. So we talked for over an hour while I put stuff away and dispensed meds. I sent her pix of the birdy's new cage and a link to Uno freeware. I jumped the gun on myself and started getting rip happy, which I wasn't supposed to start until I finished importing my mp3s. I've got a few episodes of Full Metal Panic, Dead Like Me, and The Simpsons to watch, as well. Also made a lot of headway in the book I am currently reading.
Man, the downside to these pills is that they give me a headache. :(
That's pretty much my day.
p.s. Liz's room is awesome. I never noticed before how square it is. And if you don't know, it's hip to be a square!
