Visiting Kim was fun. Everyone keeps asking how it went, and stuff, but to me I already knew that it would be fine before I left, and it was. (At least, on my side of things.) I'm pretty sure Kim had a good time too. The thing about me that I think surprised her the most was my complete lack of understanding of sarchasm. She thought I was getting offended when really I was just responding as if she was serious. It was neat being in Seattle. We went to a laser show and saw the Freemont Troll. We did a bunch of shopping and girl talk and just hanging out. I got to meet her friend Heather, and Kim's cat Smokey is a darling, but he can get annoying with his persistance of climbing on you. Oh yes, and Kim's stray named Charlie Horse. I guess I really should be posting pictures, but I'll have to upload them to photobucket first. My favourite was going on the Underground Tour. I did really well that day, as I took the bus downtown by myself and interacted in a social setting. I can't really think of much else to write about. I watched a whole bunch of movies at Kim's place, and listened to her stories about the celebrities she has met. She sang Tea Party songs for me before I left.
Since my return, my stereo has died. The motor of my cd-changer quit on me, and I had cds inside. Thankfully I was able to rescue my cds. I can live without a stereo for awhile, but I miss my nightly radio show.
I got the new pokemon game. Yay! Although boo that red is for GBA and blue is for DS.
I've mostly unpacked except for putting away my clothes and travel documents/american currency.
I'm trying to come up with a list of songs that mention Canada, to compile for Kim. I've got Blame Canada (of course), The War of 1812, and a bunch of other 3 Dead Trolls in a Baggie. I am open to suggestions (please). And I am thinking of all kinds of things I need to take pictures of to show her (eg. a bag of milk).
Okay, I'll get on with uploading some pictures. Please ask about any details you want to know. I suck at telling stories.
