Day 4: Fancy Meeting You Here

Went to Zellers to purchase some luggage; walked around the mall a bit. Spent my last $5 on bubble tea. Drove over to Niagara Square. Leah wanted to go to Sport Chek; after that, we walked around and looked at how much the mall had changed since the last time we were there. Went down to my appointment and ran into my mom on the way out. Went to Lee's for dinner (chinese). Drove over to Bill's and played DDR, Guitar Hero, and Raving Rabids. Watched some episodes of Tru before bed.

edit: I forgot to mention the guy, Moshe, at the mall who sold us this nail care stuff. He was kinda cute; I think he was hitting on Leah. lol. This stuff is pretty awesome, it makes your nails shine, makes it look like you have polish on, but it's just buffed with this file type thing. We got 3 for the price of one! Which, Leah said she would have even bought me one for full price. :D

Day 5: Tops Never Stops Saving You More

Today was the day of cross-border shopping. I really don't understand why they interrogate us on the way back into Canada. Hello, we live there, and if we were terrorists, we would have blown ourselves up before coming back to our own country. Crossing into the states was easy, all we did was show ID and say where we were going. We actually had printed off the wrong directions but still found the store easily. (Only two streets away from the bridge.) We spent $120 on food that we can't find in Canada. I got Fruity Cheerios and Yougert Froot Loops. Unfortunately, the only kind of Crush they had was orange and grape (both of which we have plenty of on this side of the border). I looked for Jilt, but couldn't find any. We bought some graham based sunchips, popsicles, those sausage and egg sandwiches, poptarts, Jello pudding, cherry 7-Up, A&W vanilla cream soda, a bunch of candy. I got two new kinds of TicTacs... There's more, but I can't think of it right now.
Side note: When you shop at Tops, make sure you have a discount card, cuz things are about 40% cheaper when you do. And it is totally free to get one, you just have to fill out a form.
We stopped at Walgreen's for Leah to pick up souvenirs, then we got lunch from Arby's before heading back to the motherland. After our interrogation, we dropped Jenga off at home and headed back to Welland. We sorted our purchases and watched Dr. Phil. I went upstairs to lay down for a bit before our dinner date. Got up at 7 and met two of my highschool friends, Nicole and Lisa, for supper at M.T. Bellies. They were already there when we got there, so that was good. We didn't have to wait long for a table. It is hard to believe that we spent 2 hours at the restaurant. I had a chicken fajita salad, which was yummy. None of the desserts looked appealing to me, but Leah ordered a 'Smore sundae and I ate some of the toasted marshmallows from that. I had fun and hopefully I didn't embarrass them too much so that they'll invite me out again sometime.
Not much planned for the rest of the night. Probably watch more Tru Calling and a video starring Katherine Heigl that Elaine brought home from the library for me.

p.s. Today there was snow.
