"Usually, the more attached you are to something, the less likely you are of getting it. The craving makes you irrational and unfocused."

What's so wrong with being wild and free? I am tired of society's restrictions.

"Irrational and unfocused" and "wild and free" aren't really the same thing, and being rational and focused doesn't necessarily have to mean conforming to society.

I don't know what you're quoting, but being irrational can mean making decisions that are not beneficial to you and will make you unhappy in the longterm, and being unfocused can mean not being able to get things done that are important to you/to your feeling fulfilled. Obsessing over something unattainable is self-defeating and will make you unhappy and worsen your self-esteem. It's also pretty much the exact opposite of being "free".

Forget society's restrictions (barring the important ones like "don't steal" and "don't kill people"). Being free means choosing a life you want and enjoy, and living it as best you can.
