01)Q: What is your all time favorite book?
A: Since this question is so hard, I'll stick to one I read maybe 50 times when I was a kid which was "Bambi's Children".

02)Q: Who is the writer that has effected your life the most?
A: Neil Gaimen, opened up my mind to the mix of reality/fantasy (as well as Charles De Lint, but Gaimen was more urban).

03)Q: What is the one subject you enjoy reading the most about?
A: Tudor history

04)Q: Who is your favorite character?
A: This is so hard. I cant come up with an answer yet.

05)Q: In your eyes the best movie based on a book?
A: The Colour Purple (second place Children of men)

06)Q: In your eyes worse movie based on a book?
A: Jurassic Park 2

07)Q: What book would you love to see made in to a movie?
A: American Gods

08)Q: Who would you like to see play the male lead?
A: Clive Owen (though he might be a little old)

09)Q: Who would you like to see play the female lead?
A: Jennifer Connelly

10) Q: If you wrote a story what 3 things would you have to put in it?
A: Some kind of witty conversation ala Whedon. Female heroine and a dog.

11) Q: What author dead or alive would you enjoy talking with?
A: Boethius, though I did enjoy speaking with Robert J Sawyer and would do so again.

12) Q: Hardback, Softback or Trade paper back?
A: Paperback. So much easier to read and I always end up taking off those covers.

13) Q: Three things you think every book should have in them?
A: A dream, a loss and a mystery

14) Q: Name an author that you like that drives you crazy from time to time and why.
A: Margeret Geroge. I love her novels, and the work she puts into it is amazing, just, sometimes the characters are too sympathetic (ie. too likeable no one is perfect) and she looses sight of balacing historical information and the act of compelling fiction.

15) Q: If money was not an object would you buy all fist editions of books?
A: Well yes I would. Then keep those safe, pehaps displayed as an investment and then buy a second copy to read.

16) Q: Do you have any books that you read over and over, and why?

A: When I was a kid I read "Socks" by Beverly Clevery (sP), a bazillion times. I also read Bambi's Children tons of times too. I liked the later better because it was longer and more involved, so I would forget parts and enjoy them all over again.

Later on I read "The Thirteenth Princess" (or 12th I cant remember) and "The face on the milk carton" and similar older, just a bit darker books. I also read "The Hobbit" and "The Magicians Nephew" which I liked better then the much touted counter parts (the lord of the rings/the lion the witch and the wardrobe).

Getting older I read "Remembering the good times" and enjoyed the tale of personal discovery, sexual discovery and depression suicide when I was pre-teen. I also read a lot of Frank E Pereitti books, each one multiple times. They were incredibley well written, page turners, chirstian of course, but they are way better then that new series dealing with the return of christ (whatever it is called).

In high school I read "Mist of Avalon" multiple times as well. Other books I have read more recently multiple times was "Sophie's World", "American Gods", "King Henery the 8th".

17) Q: If you could pick 3 authors dead or alive to write a book together who would they be?
A: Terry Prachett, Douglas Adams and Neil Gaimen. My English sense of humour surrenders at the mere mention.

18) Q: If you were going on a trip and could only take one book what would it be?
A: At this point in time it would be "Sophie's World" because that book make me THINK soo much, though if it was a trip to england Herny the 8th to make the location/story connections.

19) Q: Name the one book that you like you hope never gets made in to a movie.
A: The House of Leaves - somethings that are unknown are just more scary because it is unknown.

20) Q: Will you post this on your LJ to get my answers?
A: OK!

01)Q: What is your all time favorite book?
A: hmm Tough one... I suppose 'It' by Stephen king

02)Q: Who is the writer that has effected your life the most?
A: Hard to say for sure, each author gives me something different

03)Q: What is the one subject you enjoy reading the most about?
A: Sci-fi/fantasy

04)Q: Who is your favorite character?
A: Aegis of Asticles from the 'Prisim Pentad series'

05)Q: In your eyes the best movie based on a book?
A: I thought '13th warrior' was very good

06)Q: In your eyes worse movie based on a book?
A: '300' nothing like 'Gates of fire'

07)Q: What book would you love to see made in to a movie?
A: 'A game of thrones' by George R Martin

08)Q: Who would you like to see play the male lead?
A: There really isn't a lead in that book per say, but Sting would make a great Jaime Lanister (albeit he's a little aged) or perhaps Tywin Lanister in that case.

09)Q: Who would you like to see play the female lead?
A: Kate Winslet would be good as Catelyn Stark.

10) Q: If you wrote a story what 3 things would you have to put in it?
A: mmm Cool weapons, a setting in dystopia, lots of subterfuge.

11) Q: What author dead or alive would you enjoy talking with?
A: George Martin

12) Q: Hardback, Softback or Trade paper back?
A: Eh any really.

13) Q: Three things you think every book should have in them?
A: Good character development, a non-predictable plot line, and... lots of characters

14) Q: Name an author that you like that drives you crazy from time to time and why.
A: Shit, I know this one, RA Salvatore! Most of his books are based on one character and you damn well he'll never die so it tends to make his writing predictable and derivative.

15) Q: If money was not an object would you buy all fist editions of books?
A: Sure WTH.

16) Q: Do you have any books that you read over and over, and why?
A: Nah, I can't read a book twice. :/

17) Q: If you could pick 3 authors dead or alive to write a book together who would they be?
A: George R Martin, Stephen King and Roger Zelazny.

18) Q: If you were going on a trip and could only take one book what would it be?
A: mmm Something long like Zelazny's 'Chronicles of Amber'

19) Q: Name the one book that you like you hope never gets made in to a movie.
A: Can't think of any

20) Q: Will you post this on your LJ to get my answers?
A: Done and done
